Lysine and Herpes

The most promising application of lysine is its use in preventing painful herpes sores caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).

Lysine is believed to prevent and relieve cold sores (herpes). In studies conducted over the last several years with lysine, researchers are finding lysine to aid in the control and prevention of herpes outbreaks. There are two types of herpes virus: herpes type 1, that is the most common cause of cold sores or oral herpes infections, also commonly called fever blisters found around the mouth. Herpes type 2 represents the second type and is the most common cause of genital herpes infections. Both herpes simplex 1 and herpes simplex 2 can cause lesions either orally or genitally. Herpes type 2 is rarely the cause of oral herpes, although it cannot be overlooked as a possibility. Herpes simplex infection 1 is quickly becoming a leading culprit in genital herpes infections due to the misconception that “oral sex is safe sex.”

Pregnancy and Warts

Pregnant women that are infected with genital warts HPV need to make their health care provider aware of their situation from the beginning. The health care provider will monitor women closely throughout the pregnancy. Genital warts HPV grows at a rapid pace because of hormonal changes due to the pregnancy. There is a danger of bleeding due to the genital warts HPV becoming larger at this time. In most cases the health care provider will choose to remove the genital warts HPV, this procedure is done in order to protect the baby as well as the mother throughout the delivery. The baby could become infected with genital warts HPV while coming through the birth canal if the infected warts were not removed. There is still a chance that the baby could become infected with genital warts HPV, the infected skin cells could be transferred to the baby from the mother by way of the health care providers hands.

The baby may have some breathing, and developmental, problems due to the genital warts HPV infection.

Herpes Cure

The truest promise of a cure for herpes will arrive when and if it is recognized that herpes should be a part of standard STD screening. When health care providers see herpes as more than just a common virus that infects millions. When people realize that it only takes one sexual partner to pass the herpes virus. When people stop sugar coating the herpes virus by calling them cold sores instead of what they really are. When our high schools introduce real and adequate information to students who are about to enter their sexually active stage. When parent’s stop thinking, “If we don’t talk about it, it won’t happen.” When society realizes that condoms cannot and will not hold a promise of prevention of contraction of the herpes virus. Then and only then will there be the promise of a cure for herpes that will end the spread of the virus and prevent infection to begin with.

Molluscum contagiosum is a skin disease caused by the poxvirus this virus causes tiny clusters of flesh colored or pearly bumps, which are benign tumors. The virus is spread through skin-to-skin contact it has evolved into a (STD) sexually transmitted disease in adults. Lesions caused by the molluscum virus can be found anywhere on the body except on the palm of the hands, and the soles of the feet. Those with low immune systems as in HIV patients are more likely to suffer more severe outbreaks. Molluscum virus can cause inflamed lesions, to cover the entire body and high fevers which may result in a stay in the hospital. HIV patients should ask their health care provider, about the benefits of taking vitamin A, C, E, to aid in building a stronger immune system.

Sexual contact is the most common way the virus is transmitted between adults. Using condoms is a way of protecting one’s self and their partner from the infection of the molluscum contagiosum virus, but condoms are not 100% safe. The entire infected area may not have been covered, or some of the infected skin cells may have made their way to the genital area, thus causing the partner to become infected with Molluscum virus. Taking showers or baths with an infected person will also cause molluscum infection, as will the sharing of towels, bed linen, and clothing when a partner has an outbreak. Sex toy’s and the hand’s of a partner that has touched an infected lesion then touching the genital area of a partner will spread the molluscum contagiosum virus also. Currently there are no medications, nor treatments to cure or eradicate the molluscum virus. Abstaining from sexual activity while a person is suffering an outbreak may prevent their partner from becoming infected with the molluscum virus. The most intelligent course a couple could take, would be talking to their health care provider and following his, or her advice in educating themselves with STD information and practicing safer sex.

Genital Warts

Anyone can get infected with genital warts. The most common way of transmittal of a genital wart is through intercourse with someone who has genital warts, or touching the genitals of someone who already has a genital wart infection. In rare situations, a person is born with a genital wart infection, or a child becomes infected with HPV or genital warts while being bathed or changed. Sometimes people become infected with genital warts and the genital warts will not develop for many years.

Genital warts appear on or around the genitals and anus of both men and women. A genital wart often occurs in groups and can be very tiny or can accumulate into large masses on genital tissues. Left untreated, a genital wart may eventually develop a fleshy, cauliflower-like appearance. Genital warts can be serious for females as they can occasionally cause cervical cancer if left untreated.

It is believed that there are more cases of genital warts than any other STD in the United States. According to the American Social Health Association, there are over 5 million new cases genital warts infections reported every year. There are approximately 40 million people in the USA currently infected with genital warts.

Canker Sore Cure

The difference between a canker sore and a cold sore

A Canker sore is often confused with a cold sore. One of the main differences between a cold sore and canker sore is that a cold sore usually occurs outside the mouth, where a canker sore occurs inside the mouth.

A canker sore is a small ulcer with a white or gray base and red border. There can be one or a number of canker sores in the mouth. Canker sores are very common and often recur.

A cold sore, also called fever blister, or herpes simplex, is caused by the herpes simplex virus. A cold sore is composed of groups of painful, fluid-filled blisters that often erupt around the lips and sometime under the nose or under the chin. Herpes simplex 1 is the usual cause of a cold sore, although herpes simplex 2 can also cause a cold sore.

Warts Treatments

Experience and research suggest that certified organic essential oils that contain high levels of thuja constituents are most effective in treating warts. Particular effectiveness to neutralize warts has also been found with certified organic essential oils with a built in synergy of ketones and cineole.

The suggested mode of treatment for warts is a combination of external application of these certified organic oils directly to warts. The recommended course is to apply certified organic oils twice a day for 3-5 weeks to the warts and cover with a band aid after application. Discontinue use after the warts have been eliminated. Generally the warts flake or fade away within 4 weeks of treatment. It is important to note that one may notice an apparent increase in the size of the warts, which signals the beginning of the healing process. Those parts of the wart which are hidden below the surface of the skin are rejected by the healing tissue and are pushed outward and ultimately flake or fade away.

Shingles Relief

Your diet plays a very important part in your healing and the length of time that the virus will last. Eat well-balanced meals, add fruit and juices, limit caffeine, sweets and alcohol, this would be a great time to stop smoking as well. Smoking and alcohol may keep drugs from working to their full potential. The shingles relief will be well worth it and a healthier body will emerge from all the stress and pain.

Remember to seek help within seventy-two hours ask your medical practitioner before trying any treatments. This will be to your advantage once you have had shingles you live with the virus for the rest of your life. Trying over the counter remedies is dangerous unless you know exactly what you are treating. There could be brain damage, blindness, or severe pain, for the rest of your life if shingles go untreated. Trying to find shingles relief is practically impossible without the help of a medical practitioner.
